Hi, I’m Antonio.
I am a psychiatrist trained at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León and the “Dr. José Eleuterio González” University Hospital, where I founded and coordinate the Therapeutic Accompaniment Centre (Day Hospital).
I trained in community psychiatry in France, and for more than a decade I have worked to make mental health care closer, more continuous and more respectful of each person.
Before your first appointment
What happens at the first appointment?
It is a broad assessment: we talk about what brings you in, your personal and medical history, and what you hope to get from treatment. At the end I share my impressions and we agree on a plan together.
Do you offer online consultations?
Yes. Follow-up appointments can take place by video call when clinically appropriate.
Which languages do you speak?
English, Spanish and French.
What if I am in crisis?
If your life or someone else’s is at risk, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. In Mexico you can also call Línea de la Vida at 800 911 2000, available 24 hours a day.
You don’t have to figure this out alone.
Taking the first step can be hard. Send me a message and I’ll gladly answer your questions about consultations.
